"We feel truly blessed by God that He has brought us together and that we will soon be married. When we first met, we had no idea that two years later, we would be exchanging wedding vow promises and that we would be coming before God seeking and asking for his blessing in this new life we would be starting together. God has been so good to us and we thank Him for all He has done, for all He is doing, and for all He will do."

Jorge and Vicky's History / Time Line

    • June, 2004: Jorge Iqueda, Jr. and Vicky Vargas meet; they become instant best friends.
    • Oct 2nd, 2004: Jorge and Vicky went on their first date. Jorge took Vicky to Old Town San Diego were they had dinner at Casa Guadalajara. Without Jorge knowing; he bought Vicky her favorite flowers, "Daisies" and Strawberry bath salt.
    • Fall/Winter, 2004 : Jorge and Vicky began their Theme Park "recorido" thought-out Southern California. Their favorite places include Sea World (Here, Jorge and Vicky took their first picture together) and Disneyland, where dreams come true!
    • Jan 1st ,2005: Jorge and Vicky spend New Years Day together with family.
    • Spring, 2005: In early spring, Vicky and Jorge begin their formal courtship, with their parents blessing.
    • Spring, 2005: At the end of spring, Jorge and Vicky, along with their parents and siblings, celebrated Vicky's & Jorge, Sr. Birthday at Disneyland. They had tons for fun! The following day, Jorge, Vicky, Vicky’s dad, and a friend continued the fun at Universal Studios riding all the rides there was. At the end of the day, Vicky said, “WOW! Daddy, usted nos aguanto todo el dia!” – We love you dad!
    • June, 2005: Jorge proposes to Vicky outside of Party City in National City, CA while they were purchasing “Father’s Day” items to celebrate at Church. Later that month, June 25, 2005, Jorge and his family celebrate his birthday at The Vargas’s Home where Jorge formally proposes to Vicky that night.
    • June 10, 2006: One year later, Vicky and Jorge will pledge their eternal love to each other and unite their live in Holly Matrimony.
